We have a unique and exciting opportunity to join the Royal Society of Chemistry to work as a Parliamentary Affairs Advisor. In this role you will focus on Westminster policymakers and also be involved in working with the Devolved Nations, to promote science and ensure it benefits everyone, across industry, schools, universities and the world around us.
We are looking for someone with a good understanding of how Parliament works and excellent project management skills
At the RSC we embrace flexibility and offer hybrid working, which means our teams come together when they need to collaborate.
This role is contractually based at our London or Cambridge office. You will have the opportunity to also work mostly from a UK location other than this, or at home, as agreed with your line manager. Applicants should be aware that there is an expectation to travel to the Cambridge office approximately 1-2 days a month. If not based at our London office, the postholder will be expected to travel to London approximately 4-6 days a month.
