The Royal Society of Chemistry seeks a Policy Officer on a part-time or full-time (24-35 hours per week) basis for an 18-month fixed-term contract.
This is an exciting opportunity for a policy professional with a strength in data interpretation to make a difference by helping the RSC to influence public policy where that enables chemical scientists to make the world a better place. The role is fast paced and highly collaborative.
Your role will be to support and coordinate policy positions, policy communications and reporting, carry out and commission research, analyse relevant data, write case studies manage delivery relationships and communicate evidence.

The role can be based in our Cambridge or London office and will involve limited UK travel (for example to support events in London and Cambridge) as well as some weekend and evening work. The role has scope for flexible working (particularly around start and finish times) where this meets business needs. It is a full-time role, but we will consider applications for part-time and term-time working.
